Our law firm has represented some of the leading local and international real estate developers in various phases of real estate investment structuring and development and property management. We have significant experience in the hospitality, commercial and residential real estate development sectors, having advised on transactions involving landmark hotels, commercial and residential developments.

Our transactional experience in the area of construction law encompasses major construction projects, such as containerized ports, road works and other significant infrastructure-related civil works, office buildings, hotels, residential complexes and mixed-use projects. Our lawyers have experience in advising clients on the choice of contract form based on their experience and their goals in relation to risk allocation. We have worked with bespoke contracts as well as international form contracts such as the FIDIC red, yellow, silver and white books. We also assist clients with planning, permitting and tax related matters.

Our clients include public and private sector developers, contractors, landlords, tenants, and service and technology providers.

• Advising a large Pan-African urban land developer on the development of infrastructure in its 941-hectare Apolonia City project.
• Advising a multinational hospitality company on the structuring and establishment of its business operations in Ghana.
• Advising on the development of Switchback Park, a 17 acre mixed-use development consisting of a 250 room, five star hotel, a 100 room three star hotel; two office and retail buildings offering approximately 70,000 m2 of office and retail space; and 446 units of luxury residential apartments and penthouses in four distinct towers.
• Advising on the development of the Ambassador Heights residences, the final phase of the Mövenpick.
• Advising on the development of The Grand, a luxury residential apartment complex.
• Advising a local real estate developer on the development of a USD 100 million mixed-use hotel, residential and retail property development project in Airport City.
• Advising a regional real estate development company on the development of a USD 60 million landmark office and retail development project, and the first green office building in Ghana.
