The Novel Coronavirus Covid-19 National Trust Fund Act 2020 (Act 1013), passed into law by parliament on April 3, 2020, was enacted to establish the Novel Coronavirus National Trust Fund, raise money to complement the efforts of government to combat the Covid-19 pandemic and also design a programme to help the vulnerable and the needy with the amount of funds that will be raised.
